Gov Withdraws Rate Cut Order Earlier Issued Reducing Interest Rate on KVP, PPF, Senior Citizen etc

Earlier the government has issued following order dated 31.03.2021 , which has reduced various interest rates on government saving Promotion rules which is as below.

The major blow was to PPF Scheme which was reduced from 7.1 % to 6.2 % .

Also Senior citizen saving scheme was reduced from 7.4% to 6.5% a total of 0.90% rate was reduced.

But earlier this morning by way of a tweet of Finance Minister office they have told that the above Order been withdrawn.
